What a fab Welcome Back to Wool 2021
5th December 2021

Damp it may have been, but, true to form, we had no rainfall over the weekend of 13th & 14th November and it was cheers all round, first from our exhibitors to at long last be face to face with customers and to our customers to be face to face with wool once again.

Our exhibitors travelled to us from all over the country, from as far apart as Perth and Kent, packing the new site of the Play Barn at Lower Drayton Farm with laughter and excitement on set up day and with busy last minute prep on the Saturday morning which also saw The Knitted Tearoom replete with those gorgeous cakes, plugging in boilers, arranging cups, chairs & tables and their Welcome to the Jungle Animals to be sold in aid Staffordshire Wildlife Fund. Food traders, Zainz Catering and Jo-Jo’s Fish & Chips

The whole weekend never stopped bursting with that laughter and excitement, Not only did our customers spend with our exhibitors, but we also raised funds through Stitch A Brick & Wool Winding for CARE, the charity which provides educational, rural therapeutic activites and mental health care in Stafford, for Altzheimer’s Research and for Staffordshire Wildlife What’s on at Wool@J13 2021? | Wool @ Junction 13 (wool-j13.uk) Chase Aqua Rural Enterprise – Home Alzheimer’s Research UK – the UK’s leading Alzheimer’s research charity (alzheimersresearchuk.org) Home page | Staffordshire Wildlife Trust (staffs-wildlife.org.uk)

We also say a big thankyou to our superb Volunteer Team who made the show go with a swing and a smile. We know you were appreciated by our exhibitors and customers alike and we look forward to seeing you back with us in 2022.

As always, we love to hear from you, so if you have any comments or questions, please contact us on any of our social media platforms, What’s App or email [email protected]. Here’s to 2022 when we return to warmer temperatures in May.
